March Newsletter 2026

March Newsletter 2026

March has been an incredibly impactful month at Love Tech, filled with inspiration, connection, and unforgettable moments as we continue our mission to empower women and girls in STEM across the Isle of Man.
This month, we were proud to deliver the Nicole Stott Series a truly special programme of events that brought together hundreds of students, families, educators and industry leaders. Welcoming astronaut Nicole Stott to the Island created powerful moments of curiosity and possibility, from intimate talks and careers panels to creative experiences like Aim Higher. Seeing young people engage with global role models and begin to imagine their own futures in STEM has been nothing short of inspiring.
Alongside this, Mum Tech 2026 has been in full swing, building a supportive community of mums coming together to learn, ask questions, and grow in confidence around technology. From digital wellbeing to gaming and artificial intelligence, the conversations have been honest, practical, and empowering, helping parents feel more equipped to support their children in an ever-evolving digital world.
Behind the scenes, we’ve continued to build momentum for the months ahead, developing programmes, strengthening partnerships, and creating even more opportunities to reach and inspire our community.
As always, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, partners, mentors, schools, and supporters. Your continued support allows us to deliver experiences like these and make a real difference across the Island.

Nicole Stott Series: Inspiring Hundreds across the Isle of Man

Love Tech Charity is celebrating the success of the Nicole Stott Series a powerful week of space-focused events that brought together students, families, educators and industry leaders from across the Isle of Man.
Delivered in collaboration with NASA astronaut Nicole Stott, the series was designed to inspire the next generation through real-world insight into the global space industry—while encouraging creativity, curiosity and ambition.
Across the week, hundreds of young people engaged in a variety of unforgettable experiences:
✨ Exclusive session at Mountain View Innovation Centre gave students the chance to hear first-hand about life in space, the importance of collaboration, and how creativity plays a vital role in scientific discovery alongside Nicole Stott and Christina Korp (Founder of Space for a Better World).
💜 A deeply special visit to Rebecca House saw Nicole spend time with children and families at Hospice Isle of Man, sharing stories and sparking moments of wonder and joy.
🌌 Reach for the Stars, a careers panel at Ballakermeen Studio Theatre, connected students with real pathways into the space industry featuring Nicole Stott, Christina Korp, and Isle of Man-born space entrepreneur Christopher Stott.
🎨 Aim Higher at The Nunnery brought creativity to life, with young participants designing artwork for a unique Isle of Man-inspired space suit. The experience concluded with a stunning outdoor installation, symbolising the next generation of explorers as the “stars” of the future.
This inspiring series was made possible thanks to the generous support of Zurich Insurance Group, Crowe Isle of Man, and Appleby, alongside collaborators including Space for a Better World and Space for Art Foundation.
As Love Tech Trustee Jade Zorab shared:
“The Nicole Stott Series showed what is possible when we bring global role models to the Isle of Man. Seeing the curiosity and excitement from the students was incredibly special.”
The impact of this series will continue far beyond the week itself encouraging young people across the Island to Aim Higher and explore futures in STEM… and beyond 🌟
Mentor of the Month: Jenni Devine

This month, we’re celebrating Jenni Devine, Associate Director of Cyber Security Operations at Flutter Entertainment PLC and a passionate advocate for women in tech.
Jenni’s journey is a powerful reminder that there’s no single path into STEM. From studying Media & Communications to earning a degree in Forensic Computing, she has built an impressive career in cyber security – leading a Security Operations Centre and protecting global systems from cyber threats in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.
She is currently on secondment, leading a licence renewal and strategic programme, continuing to make a significant impact at a senior level.
As a mum of two, Jenni is especially passionate about showing young people—particularly girls, that a career in technology is something you can shape in your own way, on your own terms.
We’re incredibly proud to have her as part of the Love Tech Mentor Programme 💜
