My career path…
I graduated in 2006 with a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pretoria, South Africa where I also worked as a part time lecturer. Upon completing my studies, I worked for 7 years in South Africa, firstly for Dean Jay Architects and then for Paton Taylor Architects, where I was made an Associate Architect.
Prior to completing my Masters I worked in the United Kingdom for Insight Architecture and Broadway Malyan Architects on projects ranging from restoration of historical buildings to large multi-storey developments.
In 2013 I relocated to the Isle of Man where I established Verduyn Architects Ltd. In 2020 I completed my Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture (RIBA Part 3)
Verduyn Architects specialises in both residential and commercial projects from small scale up to £16m in value. We have a particular interest in office design and have worked for a range of clients in the technology sector across the United Kingdom and abroad.
Each client has their own unique identity and I find it very rewarding working with them to find a design that improves the way they live.
