- I have a puppy cockapoo called Tilly.

- I love history, especially medieval history.
- I went to university in America.
My career path:
I studied law at University and after qualifying as a solicitor, I worked in the USA for two years. When I returned to Scotland, I worked as an in-house lawyer for a University’s commercialisation office. In the commercialisation office, I protected and commercialised the University’s intellectual property and did the legal work for its research contracts with industry and funding bodies. I then went back into private practice and set up an intellectual property and IT law unit in a large Scottish law firm. I moved to the Isle of Man in 2007.
