Hi, I’m Angela, Love Tech’s Chairman!
Here are a few fun facts about me and also a video about why I’m passionate about inspiring and empowering people just like you to explore opportunities in STEM…
My career specialism:
I am a lawyer that specialises in Intellectual Property and advising on the legal aspects of technology, such as software design, marketing and distribution.
My current role:
I provide legal advice to various clients, including technology companies.
When not STEM-ing, you can find me…
Building Lego and going for walks with my dog in the Isle of Man’s beautiful countryside.
My career path:
I was born in South Africa and I completed an undergraduate law degree a specialised legal qualification in Intellectual Property through South African universities and academic institutions. This means that I was admitted to practice law and call myself both a Solicitor and a Trade Mark Attorney. I then moved to the Isle of Man where I became a Registered Legal Practitioner on the Island. I also completed an additional qualification through a UK university and I qualified as an English Solicitor, which means I can now practice law in three different jurisdictions around the world. My legal practice focuses on providing legal advice to technology companies.
