Hi, I’m Alexandria and I work on Love Tech’s events and marketing.

Here are a few fun facts about me and also my video about why I’m passionate about inspiring and empowering people just like you to explore opportunities in STEM…

My current role:

Marketing Lead for The Riela Group Ltd.

When not STEM-ing you can find me…

Drawing digital art, playing tennis or learning to paddleboard!

My career path:

After gaining a First-Class Degree reading Psychology, I obtained a position as Marketing Lead for The Riela Group – a group of companies specialising in cyber security, yachting and managed IT. From here, I obtained my Level 6 Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and my interest in STEM education ignited.

Since joining the Love Tech Committee in late 2022, I have enjoyed being involved in multiple projects, from initiating a cyber security educational video series, to hosting a panel for space enthusiasts and speaking on another panel for Digital Isle 2023.

With a background in marketing and psychology, I enjoy applying strategic insight into Love Tech’s marketing and operations.

If you are an emerging STEM star, my advice is to embrace what sets you apart from the crowd. If you are a female in STEM, you are likely outnumbered 3 to 1 by men. Recognising and utilising the unique qualities that set you apart can be a powerful catalyst for success. It’s essential to view this distinction as an asset rather than a hurdle.
